No two water heater jobs look the same. The right unit comes down to how much hot water a home needs, how the space is set up, and what the household actually runs in a given day. Below are three recent AO Smith water heater installations we handled across Connecticut. Each home had its own demand, and each one got a different setup to match.

Middletown, CT Water Heater Installation

Installation of a State Pro Line XE hybrid electric heat pump water heater at a home in Middletown. This unit was installed as an additional hot water source built into the homes hot water line to increase the amount of hot water  that was needed to meet the homes demand. The unit is adjacent to a finished basement providing a great source of dehumidification while operating to provide hot water. The home’s hot water volume has increased sufficiently and the unit is efficiently operating to provide better air quality in the finished basement as well. Rebates are available for this unit.

Fairfield, CT Water Heater Installation

Installation of an AO Smith 50 gallon electric water heater was the perfect replacement for this Fairfield county home‘s previous 40 gallon unit that had to be replaced due to its age. The increased tank size was needed due to the additional bathroom that was added in the home as well.

Greenwich, CT Water Heater Installation

Installation of two AO Smith signature 900 series hybrid heat pump 80 gallon units were used to meet the demands on this new high end home build in Greenwich. Serving multiple bathrooms, kitchens and a large demand from the double laundry setup that this home has. These units utilize the hybrid efficient heat pump option to supply the demand with an installed home recirculating system to keep even the furthest fixture tempered when needed. The units also utilize an emergency water shutoff provided with the unit. Rebates are available for these units.
