Trusted in the Local Area

Weston sits inland in Fairfield County just north of Westport, along the Aspetuck and Saugatuck Rivers, with about 10,400 residents spread across 20 square miles. The town started as the Norfield parish of Fairfield in 1757 and was incorporated on its own in 1787. Water power ran foundries, a grist mill and an ax works here in the early 1800s, but the mills faded and farming took over again. Artists, writers and musicians from New York began arriving in the early 1900s, and commuters followed after the war.

Two-acre zoning from the 1950s kept Weston wooded and spread out, and close to a quarter of the town is permanent open space. Devil’s Den Preserve covers roughly 1,750 acres with 20 miles of trails, the largest protected tract in Fairfield County. Residents also use Bisceglie Park, Morehouse Farm Park and the Aspetuck Land Trust preserves, and the Onion Barn at the town center still carries the community bulletin board. Weston has no municipal sewer service, so homes here run on private wells and septic systems, and the housing ranges from restored antique farmhouses to large newer builds on wooded lots. Routes 57 and 53 carry most of the traffic through town.

In addition to handling everyday plumbing and heating issues, we’ve also been trusted on numerous projects by respected local contractors.
