We replaced the old heating system at this home in Lampwick lane, Fairfield with a new high-efficiency boiler and water heater, protected with insulation by KMK
The standard gas boiler in this basement is ready to be removed.
The new system and piping is being installed on the wall. The old system was kept operational during the process (elsewhere in the basement) until the high efficiency equipment was ready.
Steve from Cove Electric came in to help with the electrics.
Pipe insulation is installed with the help of KMK insulation. The new system is live, the homeowner now has a high efficiency boiler and indirect fired water heater which acts as a buffer tank. The system can produce sufficient hot water to smaller heat zones in the house without the boiler short-cycling.
